Ranji 34 – Update 5

Rain has been playing spoilsport again and my own team TN suffered most in the last 2 games not giving them the chance to score points, thereby making it that much more difficult to qualify.  Pawan Suyal, the left arm seamer from Delhi has been impressive with 22 wickets this season. Anyway here is the update on the Ranji 34.

A look at the recent selections of the Indian selections show some interesting info.

1. Parthiv Patesl gets a place and Naman Ojha is ignored.

2. Rohit Sharma gets picked but Badrinath has been ignored.

3. Saurabh Tiwary continues to be a passenger in the Indian ODI side despite not getting a chance and failing repeatedly in the “Plate” league for Jharkhand.

4. Abhimanyu Mithun is also getting a raw deal.

5. Praveen Kumar was still picked even though he had not played for UP in the last couple of games and had to opt out to make way for Vinay Kumar.
